Here are some snapshots of Ishbel--presenting at schools and libraries while on tour, addressing the National Canadian Authors Association while president, participating in workshops and mentoring, launching books, and with Brianne of the Maplelea Girls project.

Here are some photos of Ishbel and her horses. She has baby Virtue (born June 2, 2009) and his Mom and Grandma, the two white Arabs named Bliss and Promise (in winter coats). Also she has the black Bonnie Belle, the paint Avalon, and the buckskin Cooper. Then there's Ishbel in the field with Avalon as a foal and Jaxx who no longer lives with her, and that lovely pic of Promise just before a show. In centre, is Ishbel on Promise receiving a handshake for passing a level in Parelli Natural Horsemanship. "I do have horses in several of my novels," says Ishbel. "I was always a horse lover, but did not realize until I actually had my own just how amazing they are. When I am feeling down, talking to them is the best medicine."
